About

Blackwater Creek is a horror game with an 80's VHS aesthetic. You play as Luka Worthy, a missing persons officer searching for a victim who disappeared at an abandoned insane asylum located at Blackwater Creek, Maine, USA. As you explore the asylum, use your camera to capture photos for evidence, though be careful, as a nurse lurks around the halls in an attempt to fuel her murderous rage, utilize stealth and remain silent to prevent being found! Play the stealth to your advantage, seek refuge in the vents, turn all lights off and stay quiet!

How to play:

• Finding Evidence: There are 4 evidence items located around the asylum, some require a special item to enter such as a crowbar to tear down a door. Take evidence with the camera item.
• Escaping the nurse: You are able to escape the nurse by avoiding sight during a chase, losing sight results in her losing you. Every so often, the nurse will retreat back to her morgue room where she refuels her murderous rage by drinking an unknown liquid from the boiler, during her retreat back to the boiler room she will not detect the player.
• Stealth: Equipping the lantern & EMF item increase the nurse's sight detection, being discrete and not using these items result in being harder to detect.
